The Academy began its humble beginnings in 1999, at Virginia Airport, Durban, South Africa. Today, it boasts an impressive training facility on the Mossel Bay Airfield and an extensive portfolio of pilots trained from the: South African Air Force and Police Wing, Swaziland Air Force, United Emirates Armed Forces, AAE Police Force, Namibian Police Air Wing, Botswana Police Air Support Branch, Kenyan Air Force, Army and Police Air Wing and Transnet National Ports Authority.
The Academy opened its doors to the newly built state of the art Training facility, on Mossel Bay Airfield in 2011. Comparable to that of any successful training school globally, the climate is considered to be one of the mildest in the world and averages 320 days of sunshine per annum.
